Permanent installation in the sculpturepark of 21er Haus, Belvedere, Vienna.
Metal, polyester, concrete, wood, plastic flowers.
Unlike other „ghost terraces“ made for public space this installation consists only on custom-made items (except the artificial flowers and plants). The chairs and tables are rough copies of usual folding terrace furniture, but they aren´t foldable, as the metal construction is welded. Some of the chairs are not completely executed but rather part of the table construction. The tablecloth as well as the umbrellas and the flowerpots are made from laminated fiberglass, salt and peppershaker are casts in polyester. A refillabe plastic umbrella stand was used as a negative mold to cast replicas in concrete.
